Journal Raamatukogu (Library)
The professional journal of Estonian librarians – Raamatukogu (Library) – is published six issues per year and writes about the new directions and problems of librarianship, and mediates the information of libraries and the Estonian Librarians’ Association. The Estonian-language journal also contains library-related approaches to cultural issues, literature, history of the book and publishing. Each issue contains an English-language summary.
The journal is published by the National Library of Estonia and the Estonian Librarians’ Association.
The first issue was published in 1923 by the Estonian Librarians’ Association.
Since 2019, Raamatukogu has been published online and as print on demand.
