Publisher Portal
The Publisher Portal is intended for all Estonian publishers, where they can:
- apply for standard numbers for publications,
- submit files for archiving,
- set copyright and access conditions
To use the portal, users must first create a publisher account. Publisher accounts can be created by any legal or private person engaged in publishing in the Republic of Estonia. Portal users must be pre-authenticated, i.e. log in with ID card, Smart-ID or Mobile ID and agree with the terms of Publisher service.

- A new user must first submit a publisher account application in the Publisher Portal via the “Create publisher account” button on the homepage. A publisher account can be created by both legal entities and private persons.
- If a publisher with the same name already exists in the Publisher Portal, you may ask a National Library staff member or the main user of that publisher account to add you as a user of the publisher.
- After completing and confirming the publisher account application form, a one-time account activation link will be sent to your email address. When you log in to the Publisher Portal via the activation link, your user will be associated with the publisher account. The link expires after 72 hours.
- Thereafter, you can log in to the Publisher Portal from the homepage using the “Log in” button, with an ID card, Mobile-ID, Smart-ID, or an assigned username and password.
- Additional users can be invited to join the publisher account by email by selecting “Publisher account” from the dropdown menu and choosing “Add user” on the Publisher Account page.
- One person may represent multiple publishers. In such cases, you will be prompted at login to choose the publisher on whose behalf you wish to continue.
